Saturday 4th of October
With a focus on small-scale production, organic ingredients and short-distance food, the Norwegian Food Festival at Geilo has consolidated its position as a communicator of Norwegian and local food traditions. We are proud to be able to invite you to a food festival in the high mountains!
Opening hours from 11 am - 4 pm
Program for the day
11:00 AM Opening of Norwegian Food Festival and deadline for submission of Småmat for the amateur championship (at the Tourist Office)
12:00 PM The Red Cross christens its new emergency response boat
13:00 PM Selection of amateur championship in Small Food
15:00 PM Auction of great prizes from both SkiGeilo, Øyo, Herleiks, Geilo Auto and many more!
Geilo Music Team and Hallingdal Toraderlag that ensures a good atmosphere with regular music performances throughout the day - so you don't want to miss this!
The shops in Geilo have several good autumn offers with competitions and various where you can win cool prizes. The grocery stores have various players who are responsible for tastings in stores. In addition, you can have lunch at our local cafes or restaurants in the middle of the action.
