Opening hours and information about the ski center!

The center of Geilo is surrounded by 20 lifts and 46 alpine slopes from children's areas to terrain parks and black slopes. You can use the same ski pass in all lifts. The ski bus takes you easily from one side of the valley to the other so that all slopes are easily accessible. In all base areas you will find slopes suitable for children and beginners, these are also connected to larger slopes and ski lifts. Geilo has two ski schools that help you with skiing and technique. In all base areas, you can also hire modern and newly prepared skis for all levels.

On the ski slope, it's not just skiing experiences that awaits you. Take a break and enjoy a good meal at one of the many eateries, each with its own unique concept.

Hallingskarvet Ski center

The ski center is located north of Geilo in Sudndalen, on the other side of Hallingskarvet. You can get here by car via Fv50 through Hol and Hovet. Hallingskarvet Ski Center is a skiing eldorado for skiing enthusiasts and is known for their long, wide and well-prepared slopes. Here you will find a personal and authentic atmosphere that suits everyone.

The ski center is also a good starting point for cross-country trails and have 110 km of cross-country trails.

Dagali Fjellpark

The ski center is a family-friendly alpine resort with a t-hook and 5 long slopes, in addition a slope with jumps and rails, and a children's area with a ski rope that takes you to the top of the children's hill. During the winter and Easter holidays, they have great events for the little ones.

Dagali Fjellpark is known for one of Norway's longest toboggan runs. Here you can rent a toboggan and take the lift to the top. Set off on newly groomed slopes with fantastic views.

Lia ski center and toboggan run

Lia Ski Center is located next door to the hotel, where the alpine resort has three slopes and its own toboggan run 1,200 meters long. The ski lift is 750 meters long, with a height difference of 160 metres. Both the ski lift and the slopes are family- and child-friendly, even for the very little ones. The ski center has its own sleds intended for the toboggan run, which is incredibly fun, both for adults and children. In the ski center you can rent slalom skis, snowboards and snowshoes, as well as toboggans.
