The last weekend in September is the time for the annual wine festival!
The weekend offers a wine tour with a crash course and wine tasting, courses for beginners and advanced students, winemaker's dinners, as well as a great wine fair in the center of Geilo. Welcome to a weekend full of delicious taste experiences!
In recent years, Stetten has started a "Wine Tour" on Friday afternoon, where you visit several serving establishments to taste and learn about wine from importers or producers and learn about which types of glass are best suited for different types of drinks.
On Saturday there is a wine fair in the center of Geilo where several importers, producers and suppliers of wine and accessories will have the opportunity to exhibit their goods for both information, wine tasting and sales.
"Winemaker's Dinner" Wine importers/producers team up with restaurants and hotels here in Geilo and serve wine and gourmet food in a wonderful combination. You register directly at the restaurant or hotel.
You can buy a ticket for the wine tour and wine fair separately, or a combined ticket. New this year is that the wine tour is divided into two rounds, a short and a long round. Buy a ticket for what suits you best!
You can sign up for the "Winemaker's Dinner", at various hotels and restaurants where good wines are combined with wonderful gourmet food. A really good end to the day. See the different programs below.
