Join us for a series of wonderful events this December and get into the Christmas spirit!
December 13, 2025 – Lucia Concert in Hovet Church
Experience Lucia, Advent, and Christmas spirit all at once!
With Skarvebarna, Kor i Høve, church musician Lars Inge Tverberg, and local singers and musicians.
After the concert, there will be served mulled wine, gingerbread cookies, and clementines.
Free admission – everyone is warmly welcome!
December 17 – Christmas Concert with the Choir Bris in Dagali Church
The choir Bris invites you to a Christmas concert filled with festive spirit, choir singing, solos, and sing-alongs.
December 18 – Christmas Concert with the Choir Bris in Hol Church.
Desember 23 - Concert "Sing Christmas in" at Geilo Kulturkyrkje.
We welcome children and adults to come and find that special Christmas spirit!
Church musician Lars Inge Tverberg will bring along a group of lead singers and musicians who will guide you through sing-alongs of some of our most beloved Christmas songs. There will also be new Christmas songs, as well as solo performances by some of our wonderful local singers.
This is a free event!
December 27 – Romjulsdrøm: Solo Concert with Ola Gjeilo
We are delighted to announce a solo concert with the internationally renowned composer and pianist Ola Gjeilo at Geilo Cultural Church.
Ola Gjeilo grew up with a broad musical interest spanning many genres. With a background as both a classical and jazz pianist, he studied under jazz musician Ole Henrik Giørtz and classical pianist Wolfgang Plagge. He later earned a bachelor’s degree from the Norwegian Academy of Music before continuing his studies at the Royal College of Music in London.
