Bjørn & Bjarte – The Tough One & The Tender One

Two of Norway’s most beloved artists, Bjørn Eidsvåg and Bjarte Tjøstheim, are joining forces for a very special tour. With a unique combination of warmth, humor, and musical quality, they invite the audience to an evening filled with laughter, wonder, and reflection.

Eidsvåg and Tjøstheim have known each other for several years. Now they unite their energy, wit, and the little wisdom they have in a shared performance. There will be jokes and banter, but they will also attempt to reflect on small and big questions — they are good at wonder. Both have a church background, both have experienced faith and doubt, and both know what it’s like to fall short. They are both tough and tender, and above all good at passing merciless judgments on themselves. At the same time, they are searching for grace, for someone who can accept them as they are.

The audience can expect a performance filled with laughter, music, and contemplation. Eidsvåg’s excellent band will provide musical depth, and Tjøstheim will also contribute with his rhythmic skills. Whether it will be uplifting and soul-stirring remains to be seen. But it definitely won’t be boring — the show is too short for that.
