Norway’s highest-altitude jazz festival has been held at Finse 1222 since 1996.

Over the years, the festival has welcomed a wide range of renowned artists, including Hot Club de Norvège, Nils Petter Molvær, Come Shine, Paal Nilssen-Love, Knut Reiersrud, Susanna Wallumrød, Sam Amidon, Per Zanussi, and Stein Torleif Bjella, to name just a few.

At the end of January, the hotel fills with jazz enthusiasts and outdoor lovers alike. The weekend offers concerts combined with skiing and kite skiing, excellent food, and a warm, social atmosphere. This is a popular event, so early booking is highly recommended.

This year’s program features the jazz violinist and composer Tuva Halse Quintet, as well as the Hogne Kleiberg Trio. In addition, DJ 99 – Guttorm Andreasen sets the evening mood.
