Winter at Geilo is anything but boring! Here, children can try their hand at being dog handlers, alpine skiers, sled drivers, zookeepers and so much more.

If you want to try alpine skiing for the first time, Geilo has two skilled ski schools to help you, there are 500 km of cross-country trails, two skilled operators who will take you on a guided snowshoe tour, at Geilo Husky you can drive your own dog sled and in Dagali you can sled on Norway's longest toboggan run to name a few.

In the ski resort, one can test out a children's area one day and another the next. Ski school is a natural activity if you want to develop your skiing skills, either with private lessons or together with others at the same level at a group ski school.
