Village Museum
Spread throughout Hol municipality you will find various village museums with collections of old farmhouses.
During the summer months, you have the opportunity to visit the museums and see the houses both from inside and outside. Hol Bygdemuseum has a small indoor museum with old objects and opportunities for exhibition. Dagali Bygdemuseum also tends to have an exhibition in the summer. Lastly is Geilojordet, which is centrally located in the center of Geilo and is, unlike the other two, available all year round. All these three village museums fall under Hallingdal Museum.
Geilojordet
Geilojordet is a gem right by the center of Geilo. With good parking opportunities in the immediate vicinity, it is suitable for everyone, including passers-by. Geilojordet has free entrance. Here you will find Norwegian buildings with, among other things, "stabbur", children can enjoy themself in by the playground, hiking tourists have the opportunity to obtain information about nature at the information signs on the site and in summer there is also a summer cafe with dining and storytelling theater on Geilojordet.
