Pentecost in Geilo, the weekend 23rd – 25th of May, marks the transition from spring to summer in the mountains and offers a perfect mix of nature, activities, and experiences for families, young people, and adventure seekers alike. Langedrag nature park
Langedrag Nature Park is hosting a riding camp over the Pentecost weekend for experienced riders aged 13–20.
The camp includes overnight stays, exciting riding experiences, and lots of fun. If you don’t have any experience with horses, you are still very welcome – you can enjoy the unique wildlife and experience the nature park up close.
Fagerli leirskole
At Fagerli leirskole, an activity camp with horses is being arranged for children aged 12–15, and no previous experience is required. Participants will get to try horseback riding, combined with a variety of exciting outdoor activities.
It is possible to stay overnight at the camp school for a full camp experience, or to stay at home/in a cabin and attend during the day.

Geilo has endless cycling trails to explore
Although the Geilo Activity Park does not officially open until July, the bike park at Vestlia Resort is already ready for cycling. Here you will also find skills trails suitable for both children and adults. In addition, the Ustedalsfjorden area offers beautiful and easily accessible cycling routes in scenic surroundings.

The fishing season starts when the ice melts, and this is a great opportunity to be among the first to fish in Geilo this year. A good tip is Slåttahølen, where you’ll find shelters and fire pits – perfect for a pleasant break with barbecuing in scenic surroundings.
