Farm day at Hamarbøenstølen
Welcome to Stølsdag in Havsdalen on 2 August at 11.00-16.00. A day rich in experiences for young and old!
The Hamarsbøen family, together with volunteers and private individuals, invites you to a summer farm at Hamarsbøstølen in Havsdalen.
There will be a hall of food and drink and other products. Nature trail with questions for the owner, learn about bell traditions, see forging, learn to hit with a scythe or grind. Bring a knife and get it sharp.
PROGRAM DAY:
-Sales booths opens at 11:00
-11:30 Lecture, Olav Randen: History and background before farm farming/Markvandring with Birgitte Lindhjem

-12:15 Shepherd dog show
-13:00 History of the Hauga people with the choir Bris
-13:45 Lecture, Magnus Boysen: 100 years as a cabin neighbor in the village of Støls/hike with Birgitte Lindhjem

-14.30 Musical performances by Rose Logan and Vemund Olav Aukrust. Scottish and Norwegian folk music, soft ties to farms and outlying fields

-15.15 Join us and bring the cows home for milking
Practical information:
- Address Havsdalsvegen 212.
- Payment for driving Havsdalsvegen NOK 30,-
- Only handicap parking at the farm, otherwise there are few parking spaces along the road in.
- Free parking at Havsdalsenteret, 800 m to walk (road/path)
Entrance NOK 100 for adults (16 years), children free.
