This year, we are celebrating the fifth anniversary of the Lutefisk Festival at this historic hotel, beautifully located in the heart of Geilo, between Eastern and Western Norway and with convenient access from the Bergen Railway.
The hotel’s talented kitchen team will serve exquisite lutefisk loins from Brødrene Andreassen Værøy AS, followed by traditional caramel pudding and coffee.
Of course, no lutefisk celebration would be complete without a taste of the fascinating history of lutefisk in Norway. We may also add a few local traditions and stories from Hallingdal and Hol — as well as share the story of why we have brought the Lutefisk Festival all the way to the USA.
Join us for an evening filled with Norwegian traditions, good food, local stories and the unique cultural heritage of lutefisk.
