The magical voice at Hallingskarvet.

The Skarvespelet is a historical play and the only one of its kind in Hallingdal. A legend has been found, written on an old kvikklunsj box, which describes a mysterious female voice that enchants people who stay at Hallingskarvet during the full moon.

Saturday 9 August at 2 pm
Saturday 9 August at 4 pm
Sunday 10 August at 1 pm

The musical theatre will be hold outside, bring the right clothing and something to sit on.

Join a magical family performance that will take you to the enchanting world of Hallingskarvet, where the mystery of nature and exciting adventures await! The Skarvespelet is back in 2025 and invites the whole family to an unforgettable journey among majestic mountains and mysterious voices.

The story of Iselin – and two brave children:
High up in the wind that rushes around Hallingskarvet, Iselin’s voice is heard – beautiful, mysterious and magical. But the voice has a power that both lures and bewitches. When Sølve’s father is captured by Iselin’s spell, the young people Sølve and Svale decide to save him.

Together they embark on an exciting adventure up the mountain. On the way, they meet strange creatures, some funny, some a little scary – and all with their own stories to tell. Through dangers, challenges and surprises, they must find the strength in themselves and in each other. Will they be able to break Iselin’s spell and bring their father home safely?

An adventure for the whole family:
With magnificent nature as a backdrop and a story full of excitement, humor and heartwarming, Skarvespelet is a performance for children and adults of all ages. It is about friendship, courage and the power of standing together, all while the magic of the mountains surrounds you.

Restrictions
-Parking at Prestholtseter. Remember to arrive in good time.
-The road is closed to traffic at the play area immediately before the start and reopens after the performance.
-Suitable for children from 6 years. Smaller children are of course welcome.
-For small children 0-5 years who can sit on your lap, choose a free ticket for children 0-5 years.
-It is recommended to dress warmly, as it is often cold in the mountains.
-It is possible to buy bus transport, round trip. to Saturday at 2:00 PM the performance.
-Road toll per car nominal 70kr.
