Season opening in the ski center 25 November!
Official opening of the ski center is Saturday 25 November, you can see the status of snowmaking and future opening below!
This opens on Saturday 25 November
Ski rental: Open in Havsdalen.
Serving: Havsdalen: Simple serving at Havsdalsgrenda. Vestlia: Dining available at Vestlia Resort.
Ski pass: We encourage everyone to buy lift tickets online, then you also get a 10% discount. Ski passes can also be bought in Havsdalen.
The lift's opening hours
The lifts open from 09.30 to 15.30, Saturday and Sunday until 9 December. See the rest of the season opening hours here.
Ski bus
There will be a ski bus in the period 25.11-09.12. This will not run a shuttle, and only runs two rounds per morning/evening.

Welcome to a new ski season!

Velkommen til Winter Wonderland! Snøleggerne har stått på, og vinterens første skitur kan du ta i Asleløypa (rød) allerede til helgen. På lørdag kl. 09.30 åpner Vestliaheisen (stolheis) opp for sesongen. Vestia Skikafé serverer enkle retter og skishop, skiservice og skiutleie er også åpent. Husk å kjøp sesongkort online før du kommer. NB! Kun helgeåpent frem til 9. desember.
I Geilo sentrum har julemarkedet åpnet, og det er julestemning på hotellene. Med hvitt gull i dalen byr Geilo på skikkelig god førjulsstemning. Velkommens til fjells for å nyte starten på denne kalde, fine tida.
PS! Det jobbes med å få åpnet en blå bakke fra topp til bunn og ett fullverdig barneområde, men de må vente på neste kuldeperiode før de får til dette.

About the ski center in Geilo
In Geilo you will find slopes suitable for everyone, from children and beginners to experienced ski enthusiasts. The center of Geilo is surrounded by 20 lifts and 46 alpine slopes from children's areas to terrain parks and black slopes. You can use the same ski pass in all lifts. The ski bus takes you easily from one side of the valley to the other so that all slopes are easily accessible.
On both sides of the valley you will find areas suitable for children and beginners and these are located in base areas and are connected by larger slopes and lifts. Geilo has two ski schools that are happy to help you with your skiing and technique. In all base areas, you can also rent modern and newly prepared skis for all levels.
On the slopes, it's not just skiing experiences that await. Take a break and enjoy a good meal at one of 6 eateries, each with its own unique concept.
