In the heart of Dagali, you will find Rooted Roast – a local coffee roastery and welcoming café inspired by the mountains, nature and life’s slower moments. Here, locals and visitors can unwind with freshly roasted speciality coffee in a warm and relaxed atmosphere.
Rooted Roast was founded by Nicole, Milan and their son Max. Their passion for coffee followed them across several countries and many adventures before they found their home in Dagali. In a small building next to Joker, they created their own roastery and café – a cosy meeting place for everyone living in or travelling through the mountain village.
The coffee is roasted locally in Dagali, with each edition inspired by real places in the surrounding area – from Hardangervidda and Geilo to the mountains around Dagali. The result is coffee that reflects not only flavour, but also the landscapes, people and moments shared over each cup.
