Open Day at Arne Næss’ Cabin at Tvergastein
On July 12, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., the Arne Næss Cabin Tvergastein Foundation invites you to guided tours and a visit inside the cabin.
More and more people are making the trip to Tvergastein, and we are receiving an increasing number of requests to come inside and see the cabin. In cooperation with the Tvergastein Foundation – Arne Næss’ Cabin, we are therefore organizing an Open Day.
Everyone who wishes to visit Tvergastein on this day will be offered a unique guided tour of the cabin. The tour lasts approximately half an hour. Along the way, we will share the history of the cabin, explain how the different rooms were used, and perhaps also say a few words about life at the cabin.
No registration is required. The principle of “first come, first served” applies. In case of high attendance, a queue-number system will be used.
No refreshments will be served, so please bring your own food and drinks.
We kindly ask that no photographs be taken inside the cabin, and we hope this will be respected.
This is the first time we are organizing an Open Day, and we consider it a trial project. Afterwards, we will evaluate whether to arrange something similar next year.
The guided tour is free of charge, but we gladly accept voluntary donations to the foundation. All financial contributions go entirely toward the maintenance of the cabin.
Donations can be transferred to account number 0539 27 19751. Please mark the payment “gift”.
