Norway's National Day Celebration at Finse 1222

Have you always dreamed of a truly special way to celebrate May 17th? Then the world’s most unforgettable celebration at Finse is something you can’t miss.

Sausages, soda, and singing on the roof of Norway, Hardangerjøkulen. With our 117-year history, it’s only natural that we always aim to create something truly special on May 17th. If you haven’t been here before, we can promise you a celebration you’ll remember for a long time.

Everything is set for a fantastic celebration and a perfect end to the ski season! In addition to the traditional May 17th parade up to Hardangerjøkulen, there will be a flag ceremony, speeches, skydiving, and much more.

This year’s program:

May 16:
18:00–21:00: A three-course dinner will be served in the restaurant (also available for non-hotel guests)
22:00–01:00: Program to be announced

May 17:
08:00: Flag raising and national anthem
08:00–10:00: May 17th breakfast
10:30: Parade to Hardangerjøkulen
TBA: Voss Fallskjermklubb lands outside the hotel. Outdoor bar at Framheim
12:00–17:00: Sale of cured meats, sour cream porridge, and cider at the hotel
19:00: Three-course gala dinner with entertainment (also available for non-hotel guests)
