Launch of the Artist Booklet at Geilo Cultural Church
On Friday, 2 October at 2:00 PM, visual artist Kjersti Lande will launch her own artist booklet.
The booklet was created especially for the exhibition “Skogskuldre, månerøtter” and is inspired by bus route 420 between Geilo and Kongsberg. It contains texts about two of the route’s 114 stops, written by geologist Henrik Svensen and natural scientist Monica Marcella.
The booklet is printed using risograph, assembled and hand-stitched, with a design inspired by bus timetables.
The booklet will be available free of charge at the launch, as well as on the final day of the exhibition, 3 October.
