Horseback riding tour 2 hours - Geilo Horse Center
Join us for a 2-hour horseback ride through the beautiful scenery of Geilo this summer! Rides are available daily from July 11 to July 26 and are suitable for both beginners and experienced riders.
We offer our popular 2-hour horseback ridewith two daily departures: 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM.
This enjoyable and varied ride takes you along forest trails and gravel roads in the lowlands, or up to Bruslettstølen, where you'll enjoy spectacular views of Hallingskarvet. The route is chosen based on the weather conditions and the experience level of the group.
Our guides carefully assess each group's riding experience and adjust both the route and the pace to suit the least experienced rider, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
We ride Icelandic horsesand Døle horses, all of them safe, experienced trail horses. For the comfort and well-being of our Icelandic horses, the maximum rider weight is 90 kg (198 lbs). If you would prefer to ride a Døle horse—whether due to your height, weight, or simply personal preference—please let us know when booking.
Important Information
Please arrive 10 minutes before departure.
Minimum age: 10 years.
Children under 13 years must ride with an accompanying adult.
Riding helmets are available to borrow.
Please dress appropriately for the weather.
We recommend bringing a small snack and a water bottle.
Booking closes at 9:00 PM the evening before your ride.
