From July 3 to August 16, you can take the Halnekongenboat and travel deeper into Hardangervidda.
The popular Halnekongen has been converted into an open boat, and the crossing takes approximately 30 minutes. There are 24 seats available on each departure during the summer season. Please expect some waiting time.

Halnekongen departs from Halne Fjellstugu, located along National Road 7, approximately 13 km into the Hardangervidda mountain plateau. This is an excellent starting point for hiking in Hardangervidda National Park.
