Hallingdal Gospel Choir at Geilo kuturkyrkje
The concert offers a mix of classic gospel and Christmas songs. Sunday, November 16 at 6:00 p.m. in Geilo kulturkyrkje
Hallingdal Gospel Choir was founded in 2005 by Paschal Ogoti, who still leads the choir today. He brings together around 18 singers from across Hallingdal for rehearsals at Gol Prayer House every Tuesday.
The repertoire ranges from classic gospel to well-known Christmas songs such as “Go Tell It on the Mountain” and “Joy to the World.” The choir draws inspiration from artists like The Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir and CeCe Winans, and aims to share joy, hope, and vitality through its music.
The word “gospel” means “good news,” and that is exactly what we want to convey—joy, hope, and life through our songs. This concert will feature talented soloists, new musicians, and a repertoire full of energy and warmth.
We warmly welcome you to an atmospheric evening filled with genuine song and musical joy!
