Glacier Tour on Hardangerjøkulen

Together with experienced glacier guides, you will have the opportunity to experience Hardangerjøkulen up close, learn about its history and everything the ice can tell us. The glacier tour starts from Finse Railway Station and on the hike up to the foot of Hardangerjøkulen, there are a few stops where you get to know the area and the glacier's history. At the foot of the glacier, you will be given equipment and then enter the spectacular glacier with the rope layer - we promise an experience you will never forget.

The trips basically run daily during the summer season. The trips start from Finse train station, with attendance at the waiting room. The trips last for 6-7 hours where we walk a distance of 15-17 km in hilly high mountain terrain, most of it outside the marked DNT trail.
