Geilo Jeger- og Fiskeforening

Geilo Hunter and Fisherman's Association was founded in 1952 and is located in Hol municipality at the foot of Hardangervidda.

Geilo can offer a varied hiking terrain, good opportunities for fishing and opportunities for small game hunting. It is mainly trout that is fished for, but Ustedalsfjorden, Bergsmulfjorden, Nygardsvatnet and Sløddfjorden also have a population of char and whitefish. Grouse are found, and there is a good population of hares at times.

As a member of Geilo Hunter and Fishing Association, you get the benefit of cheaper fishing licenses and cabin rental as well as the benefits the Norwegian Hunters and Fishermen's Association can offer. You can buy a fishing license from Geilo Hunter and Fishing Association without membership.
