Visual artist from Bergen, with a studio in Sandviken. She paints various motif series in acrylic on canvas. Sissel works in the figurative tradition, in the sense that she searches for figurative and naturalistic structures as a starting point for more abstract expressions. The city, people and landscape are largely her source of inspiration and painterly raw material. Using various means, she creates mood, light and tranquility in the pictures.
Some of the paintings are converted to digital art using the Giclee technique. The prints are signed in limited editions. Through the exhibition, "Moments", she wants to convey good thoughts and beautiful moments, which can be experienced if you just stop for a moment, raise your gaze and feel for them.
