Crown Prince Haakon at Geilo

Hol municipality will receive a royal visit when Crown Prince Haakon arrives in the municipality on Wednesday, September 24th.

Official program at the Geilo Amphitheatre
The event will take place outside in the Geilo Amphitheatre, Wednesday 24 September from 12:35 to 1:20 p.m. We encourage everyone to be there by 12:15 and allow plenty of time.

The main entrance for the public will be from SPAR Geilo at Kyrkjevegen in the east.

The amphitheatre will be filled with singing, dancing and various performances by children and young people in Hol municipality. In the pedestrian street there will be stalls showcasing volunteering, sports, local food, craft traditions, farm operations and tourism.
After the visit to the city centre, the Crown Prince will visit the Skaugum cutlery factory.

Raise the flag
We will create a public festival and hope that as many people as possible can join the day with both flags and good spirits. Please raise the flag at home or at work so that we can give the Crown Prince a warm welcome.

Road closures
There will be some road closures and some manual traffic management on the roads around the amphitheater during the event. The road to the train station, as well as Highway 7, will be kept open.
