Concert with Knut Anders Sørum

Knut Anders Sørum is known for his warm voice, his gentle personality, and his distinctive songs within the genre he has almost been credited with creating: “Toten-soul” – soul sung in the Toten dialect. With albums such as Ting flyt (2013), Audiens 1:1 (2016), Dom vonde orda (2019), and his Christmas album from 2021, he has established himself as one of Norway’s most original artists. Many also know him from Stjernekamp (2016), where he made a strong impression and won the entire competition. Musically, Sørum has often been described as a meeting between Alf Prøysen and John Legend – an apt description of both his style and his sources of inspiration.

In this concert, we meet Sørum in a setting that is both groovy and intimate, bringing the audience closer to both the music and the musicians. You can expect songs from several stages of his career – and perhaps a few surprises along the way.
