Who will win this year?
Winter is approaching, and with the Season Opener and the Christmas holidays just around the corner, the city center will soon again be filled with twinkling Christmas lights and real Christmas joy! Boutiques cafés, restaurants or offices - everyone is welcome to participate.

What the jury is looking for
The main focus is on the windows and the outdoor area – how to use light, decorations and atmosphere to spread Christmas joy. Although it is what is visible from the outside that has the main focus, there is nothing stopping you from continuing the decorations and Christmas magic on the inside as well!
Here's how it works:
There is no registration – the jury will take a tour of the entire city centre on Thursday 13th of November from 15.30pm, and the selection will take place the same afternoon. Feel free to give us a hint that you are in the process of decorating - then we can let our followers on social media have a sneak peek!
Prize for the winner and your own "vandrenisse"
The store that stands out with the most atmospheric and comprehensive Christmas decoration is named Christmas Store of the Year 2025 and receives honor, wandering Santa and a nice prize for the entire company.
The Christmas market opens on Friday 14th of November at 16.00pm, and every weekend until Christmas. Let's make sure that the city center sparkles with Christmas decorations when we welcome winter!
