Trollklubben Childcare follows the ski lift's opening hours but closes an hour before the lift if no children are present. Located in a cozy log cabin in the children’s ski area of Vestlia, Trollklubben is a popular ski and play area throughout the winter season. It offers childcare for the smallest children, aged 0 to 8 years. From Christmas through Easter, you can book childcare either by the hour or for full days.
When indoors at the daycare, children can choose from a variety of activities such as playing with cars, dolls, LEGO, Duplo, and much more. The possibilities are endless! When the weather allows, both adults and children will be outdoors. Full-day children are given priority. Outdoor activities may include tobogganing, playing with cars, shovels and buckets, as well as making snow cakes, snow horses, or snowmen. The only limit is your imagination! Remember to dress children warmly and bring a change of clothes in case they get wet. Ensure they have good mittens, boots, and hats, and the daycare recommends wearing wool as the base layer.
Children who need to sleep can do so. Please bring a stroller if your child will sleep outside, as well as diapers and extra clothes for changes. The daycare can provide lunch for an additional fee. Please inform us of any allergies. Outside food or snacks are not allowed due to allergies among other children in the daycare. Your child cannot attend the daycare if they are ill, such as with fever, vomiting, influenza, or other contagious diseases. The daycare is open year-round for children from Geilo, along with adult staff.
