Restaurant Hallingstuene is located in the center of Geilo. Hallingstuene is run by the famous TV chef Frode Aga and his wife Berit Kongsvik.
The restaurant is furnished like three old Halling-cottages (hallingstuer) with two open fireplaces and rose-painted walls. At Hallingstuene, they mainly serve game-based dishes with honest taste.This is a large part of Frode and Berit's philosophy, and the clean and good flavors are in focus.
Hallingstuene has a well-stocked wine cellar with over 1,200 different titles and vintages on the wine list. In the wine cellar, there are close to 5,000 bottles for storage, and the collection is constantly expanding.
