Geilo Aktiv offers outdoor activities, lessons and guiding for individuals, families and groups all year round. During the summer the main activities are mountain biking (courses, private tuition and guiding), hiking trips and canoe rental. In the winter it is all about cross country skiing lessons, guided snowshoeing and fatbike tours and rental of snowshoes and fatbikes. Geilo Aktiv is Geilo's biggest snowshoe rental shop and has a whopping 14 fatbikes for rent. Geilo Aktiv is a one-person-business run by Nina Gässler. Nina has a degree in sports science and many years' experience as guide, instructor and trainer. She is a certified mountain bike guide and instructor (NMIG and EO-MTBING/ European Bike Guides). Nina feels privileged to be able to share her favourite outdoor activities with others and to help people at all levels to improve their skiing and mountain biking technique.
