Herlig AS

At the end of 2013, Gunn Kristin Øen Uthus began a collaboration with Gunvald Åsegård at Gunvalds Kjøkken. Gunvald’s small dishes are now produced and sold by the company Herlig AS. Their specialty is small dishes based on old traditions, local ingredients, and solid culinary expertise. These products can be purchased frozen in grocery stores in Hallingdal and in some other locations in Eastern Norway.

Herlig AS also includes a home bakery in Geilo, run by Gunn Kristin. Here, you can get lefsekling, rumme bread, rumme porridge, Christmas cookies, baguettes, bread, cakes, and more. Gunn Kristin is committed to preserving traditions and maintaining the authentic homemade taste. The rumme porridge is based on a 100-year-old recipe from Prestholtseter in Geilo. This recipe has been in the Uthus family for generations.

Herlig AS also provides dinners, lunches, or meals for meetings, memorials, or gatherings. The food can be delivered to you, or you can pick it up yourself.
