Glacier Adventure Package

Visit Geilo this summer and experience Hardangerjøkulen!

The package includes:

• 2 nights accommodation at a hotel, cabin, or apartment, as per your choice.
• Self-catering in a cabin/apartment, breakfast included at the hotel.
• Glacier guiding on Hardangerjøkulen with Jøklagutane, on a day of your choice, subject to availability.

Important Information:

• Train ticket is not included. Recommended train times are from Geilo at 09:59 and back from Finse at 18:06/19:27. Tickets can be booked at www.vy.no.
• Glacier guiding times are coordinated with the train arrival and departure times. Minor delays are accommodated.

The Experience:

• Accompanied by experienced glacier guides, explore Hardangerjøkulen, learn about the history of the area and the secrets of the glacier.
• The tour starts at Finse Railway Station at 11:00, lasting 6-7 hours, covering 15-17 km in rugged mountain terrain.
• Age limit: 12 years. In some cases, slightly younger children may participate if the family is accustomed to similar trips.

Clothing and Equipment:

• Full-coverage clothing, hat, sunglasses, gloves/mittens.
• Bring food, drink, and weatherproof clothing.
