Fireplace and shelter in Skurdalen
Campfire place with shelter nearby the road that goes to Tuva Turisthytte. About 20 minutes drive from Geilo centrum following road 40 towards Kongsberg tur right towards Tuva Turisthytte. There is a small layby to park the car.
Nice private shelter with fireplace, please bring your own firewood and make sure you do not leave any rubbish at the shelter. Respect the national bonfire ban from 15th og April to 15th of September in Norway. Do not light fires in forests and open fields during this period.
Winter
Nice cross-country trails in winter and bridge over the river. Easy snow shoe forest.
Summer
Lovely to bike along side the west side of the big lake, or make small walks on the track or just into the forest to pick berries and mushrooms.
