Lutefisk dinner at Stundo

Saturday 9th of November from 13:00 til 14:00, it tis time for a traditionall Lutefisk dinner with the right side dishes.

Welcome to the first-ever lutefisk dinner at Stundo. We promise all the traditional side dishes, and we will prepare plenty of fish so that everyone is full. We’re a bit unsure whether it will be Lene or Pål working, simply because both love lutefisk and want to be guests that evening!

We don't have our own picture of lutefisk yet... so we’ve borrowed one from Aperitif.no.

Lutefisk
Lutefisk is a traditional Scandinavian dish made from dried whitefish, usually cod, that has been soaked in a lye solution to rehydrate it. After being rinsed thoroughly to remove the lye, the fish is cooked, resulting in a gelatinous texture. It is typically served with side dishes like potatoes, peas, bacon, mustard, and white sauce. Lutefisk is especially popular in Norway during the Christmas season and is known for its unique preparation process and acquired taste.

The event has a 20-year age limit.
