Catering and accommodation cabins in the mountains

The dining and accommodation cabins in the mountains are good starting points and hiking destinations for those who want to explore nature in and around Geilo. In recent years, it has become very popular to cross the Hardangervidda plateau, both lengthwise and crosswise. It's a good thing that there are many cabins with dining and accommodation for a breather.

With dozens of cabins, both serviced and not serviced, the mountain has become more accessible and comfortable. You can cross areas along and across, hike from cabin to cabin, and you can easily visit nearby cabins for a stop and fill-up on good food and drink. Several of the cabins are open both in summer and winter and accessible by car.
Below, we have listed several cabins in connection with Geilo and national parks that are worth a visit.
