Hoth Strikes Back
Welcome to a unique weekend at Finse when Star Wars fans from all over the world gather on the iconic planet Hoth. The most memorable scenes from the movie Empire Strikes Back were created here, both right outside our own hotel - Finse 1222 and on the majestic Hardangerjøkulen. Join us 13 - 15 February 2026.
Program
This time, members of the film crew are invited to share their stories from the production. Participants include Harald Lystad, CEO of 20th Century Fox Norway; Christian Berrum, production assistant; Knut Vadset, still photographer; and Martin Gant, special effects specialist.
Attendees can also look forward to a special guest appearance by Craig Miller, Director of Fan Relations at Lucasfilm, who will share unique insights and experiences.
The program will feature educational talks combined with plenty of fun, taking place at Finse Hotel 1222. This event promises to be engaging not only for Star Wars fans, but also for other hotel guests.
