Hallingstuene - Saturday

Hallingstuene is a well-known restaurant run by the chef couple Frode and Berit. It serves traditional Norwegian food with a focus on local ingredients and authentic flavors. During the event Stetten Wine Festival, they offer a Winemaker's Dinner on Saturday 28th of September in collaboration with the importer Fondberg.

On Saturday, Hallingstuene has the great pleasure of welcoming Bouchard Père & Fils from Burgundy, France. Export manager Guillaume Lafragette comes in person to present their selection of wines.

Founded in 1731 in Beaune by Michel Bouchard, Bouchard Père & Fils is one of the oldest wineries in Burgundy. In 1775, Bouchard bought his first vineyard in Volnay, Les Caillerets. Today, the winery has 130 hectares of vineyards, which includes 12 Grand Cru and 74 Premier Cru areas.

Among their possessions you will find the Chateau de Beaune, which was acquired in 1820. Here, some of their oldest wines are stored in a 10-metre-deep cellar, where the oldest bottle is a Meursault Charmes from 1846.
