Get Rhythm consert in Geilo Cultural church
On Saturday 9 th of November, country band Get Rhythm will play from 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm in Geilo Cultural church.
One of the most sought-after country bands in Norway is coming to Geilo Kulturkyrkje!
Get Rhythm started in 2013, and thundered into the music festivals in 2015. The band from Gausdal with its very special Johnny Cash sound has since developed into one of the most sought-after country bands in Norway.
Johnny Cash himself grew up during the "hard 30s" and worked in the cotton fields with the rest of the family. The family sang all the time while they worked, mostly hymns and gospel, and it was here that the foundation for the religious part of his music was laid.
Under the concept of CASH IN CHURCH, we get to meet the slightly unknown side of "The Man in Black" while we are taken on a magical journey with "spirituals" performed in a particularly tasteful way.
