Geilo Go-Kart Grand Prix 2025

The Geilo Go-Kart Grand Prix is a two-part go-kart circuit held in both Geilo and Kragerø. Free admission for the public right in the town center.

Friday:

DR. HOLMS HOTEL
7:00 PM – Late: PRE-PARTY at Dr. Holms Hotel.
Car displays, BBQ, live music, and more.
8:00 PM – Drawing to determine who will race against the celebrities.
The festivities continue throughout the evening.

Saturday:

TOWN CENTER (All times are approximate)
6:00 AM – Streets close to car traffic.
10:00 AM – Stores open.
11:00 AM – Kids’ Grand Prix. Bring a bike, scooter, etc., and ride the Grand Prix track!
11:30 AM – Safety lap around the track for all participants. Music and fun for the audience.
12:00 PM – Start of the race for "celebrities vs. locals."
2:00 PM – Exhibition race with elite drivers. See how the pros do it.
3:00 PM – All "races" conclude.
3:00 PM – Book signing and talk by Sturla Ellingsvåg at Norli bookstore.

VESTLIA RESORT:
6:00 PM – BBQ buffet on the rooftop terrace. DJ and music. (Indoor if rain)
8:00 PM – AFTER RACE with concerts and show. DJ starts.
9:00 PM – PUSH//PLAY puts on an amazing show!
11:00 PM – Concert with HALVA PRISET.
12:00 AM – DJ continues through the night.
2:00 AM – THANK YOU FOR THIS YEAR!
