Welcome to a concert with Norwegian folk tunes and hymns in the Geilo Culture Church on Wednesday 16th of April at 20.00
The well-known duo Iver Kleive on organ and Knut Reiersrud on guitar and oud needs little introduction. For nearly 30 years, they have performed to full churches and concert halls across Norway. Drawing inspiration from Norwegian folk tunes and hymns, as well as their own compositions, they have brought a unique and fresh dimension to traditional church music.
Many will remember their album ''Blå Koral'', which won the Spellemann Award. It is a beautiful fusion of European church music and African-American rhythms and melodies.
