Christmas tree lighting ceremony
Sunday the first of December at Geilojordet from 17:00, the Christmas lights ceremony.
Bring your family, a small stool or a sitting pad, good shoes and some warm blankets for a typical Norwegian Christmas experience. This is an outdoor activity, so please be prepared in the right way. There will be no opportunity for something warm to drink or come inside.
Come and soak in the magical Christmas atmosphere from the mountains of Geilo, where the 7th grade students from Geilo Primary and Secondary School will perform an inspiring program of singing and theater.
This beloved tradition adds a special touch to the Advent season and offers a wonderful opportunity to experience the joy of Christmas with colleagues, neighbors, and other visitors to Geilo. Please feel welcome.
