The inventor of Ice Music, Terje Isungset is back in Geilo with a Christmas concert, outdoors at Geilo Kulturkyrkje.
At Geilo, we are well aware of Isungset's Ice Music Festival, which ran for a number of years. This time he comes with his new Ice Quartet.
The music is mainly taken from Isungset's ice music albums Winter Songs and Beauty of Winter.
Ice Quartet:
Amalie Holt Kleive: vocals and ice percussion (works with Aurora, Metteson and her own bands).
Julie Rokseth: ice harp (works with several orchestras in Norway in addition to the tango duo Julie & Andreas).
Toivo Fjose: ice bass (has worked with Sigrid for a long time, but is now a freelance musician in Bergen).
Terje Isungset: ice drums, ice percussion, ice horn and isophone. (originally Geiling and inventor of ice music!).
