Bonfire-day in Norway
The Norwegian Trekking Association is kicking off the Year of Outdoor Life 2025 with the event "All of Norway by the Fire" on Saturday, January 18.
Join the Get Out Day on January 18. "All of Norway is Bonfire" marks the start of the Year of Outdoor Life 2025. The goal is for all of Norway to gather around the bonfire on this day. We will meet at the ski play area at Geilo Stadium. Bring your skis and/or sledgeboards and enjoy some great hours with us with fun activities and fellowship around the bonfire!
Parking at Geilohallen.
Time: 12-15. Come whenever you want, and enjoy some great hours outdoors!
Bring: Dress for the weather (see the weather forecast yr.no). The trip will be better for both children and adults if you have clothes that keep you dry and warm.
Skis and/or sledgeboards
Sitting or sleeping mats if you have them.
Food, preferably something you can grill if you wish.
The event is free. The Geilo Children's Hiking Group in DNT Drammen and the surrounding area arranges trips in the forest and fields all year round.
Photography: As a participant on trips organized by Barnas Turlag Geilo, photos of the participants may be taken during the trip. These photos may be used in DNT's publications and its own websites. If you do not want your child or yourself to be photographed, please inform the tour leaders.
We would like to point out that on all trips and activities with Barnas Turlag Geilo, the guardians are responsible for their own children at all times. The task of the tour leaders/activity leaders is to facilitate the trip, activity and play.
PS! Remember that BUA Hol is open for free borrowing of anything you may need on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00 PM-6:00 PM.
