Zipline - Høyt & Lavt (Climbing park)
Have you ever dreamed of flying? Or is ziplining on your bucket list? At Geilo you can fulfill your wish! The 1,100 meter long zipline is guaranteed to be fun for the whole family.
If you prefer to stay closer to the ground, but still want a challenge, visit Høyt & Lavt Climbing park. Maybe you've dreamed of being Tarzan for a day? In the park, you have to climb high, balance yourself and throw yourself into the net. The park has an age limit of 10 years, and you must be over 140 cm tall.
Rafting for kids
How about rafting in Norway's third largest river? The 352 km long river offers resilient rapids and funny waves! Rafting is an incredibly fun family activity, and you can choose anything from a calm to a more action-packed trip.
Bowling
Is the weather bad? Don't worry - In the bowling hall you forget all about the weather, time and place! Both Dr.Holms Hotel and Vestlia Resort have modern and beautiful bowling alleys with serving.
Pumptrack & Bike paths
Do you like speed and excitement, but want to control the pace yourself? Then the pump track is a perfect activity for the whole family, and not least a social gathering place. If you think it might get too social, there are several established bike paths in the surrounding area.
Frisbee Golf
How about trying the new popular sport - Frisbee Golf! This is suitable for everyone, young and old! The new 9-hole course is located by the golf course in Vestlia (score cards are available at reception). Use your own discs, or there are options to rent. The course is free to use.
Adventure Bath & Indoor Playland
After a long day outside, it's good to get back indoors! At Vestlia Resort the children can enjoy a big and amazing playland with long slides, ballroom, soft pillows, climbing ropes and a large playground. After the playland, it may be tempting to take a bath for the whole family, in the Adventure Bath, the children can throw themselves down the 82-metre-long water slide, while you relax in the jacuzzi. Both Vestlia Resort og Dr.Holms offers a Spa and Wellness area for adults
Take the children on a hike
Pack a lunch bag and some hot chocolate and take the children on a hike! See the world through their eyes, let them explore on their own while you enjoy the sight of beautiful autumn colours. How about visiting the troll around Ustedalsfjorden, or "check in" at Hotel California on Hardangervidda?
