High Rope Course - Geilo Summer Park

You will find the High Rope Course in Vestlia, at the Geilo Summer Park. Challenge yourself up in the air with climbing, balancing, and experience a stomach-tickling by swinging at the Tarzan net. The High Rope Course has a minimum age of 10 years, and you must be over 140 cm.

The Troll Park, which is a smaller version of the High Rope Course located right beside it, has a minimum age of 5 years and is for the youngest, between 110-140 cm.

High Rope Course

The High Rope Course consists of 31 elements that challenge your ability to climb, balance, and to go out of your comfort zone. The different elements can be trapezes, ladders, tunnels, Tarzan-swings, swinging logs, climbing net, and other exciting hindrances. You should calculate around two hours to get through the High Rope Course. Book ahead of time to ensure that you get a spot. Before you start out, you receive a security review, and a harness and helmet are given out.  The minimum height to climb the High Rope Course is 140 cm.

The Troll Park

The Troll Park is for the youngest, with heights between 110-140 cm. This park consists of 12 exciting and different elements, with, among others, a mini-zipline, climbing net, and swinging logs. In the Troll Park, a wire is fastened to the harness that the children wear. In this way, the children are not responsible for their own safety, and can go through the park in a safe and secure manner.

For the Youngest

For those under 110 cm, there is a free climbing frame, swings, sandbox, and other play equipment around the climbing park.
The High Rope Course, Troll Park, and the play equipment are located at the same place, so that you, as parents, can keep an eye on your children from one spot. 

Self-Declaration Form

Everyone who shall climb at the High Rope Course must have read through the Self-Declaration Form.

You are welcome to read it ahead of time before you arrive at the park. The form can be read and downloaded here:

The Self-Declaration Form is a part of the instruction before climbing. Everyone under 18 years must have a parent present during the instruction. Please note that in the case that you book online, you are simultaneously confirming that you have read through the Self-Declaration Form. The High Rope Course follows the EU-demands to safety, and is approved by the Norwegian Railway Inspectorate.
